Spike TV announces lineup for the iconic comedian's upcoming tribute special

Chris Rock, Samuel L. Jackson, Arsenio Hall and Tracy Morgan are just a few of the big names slated to pay homage to iconic comedian Eddie Murphy on an upcoming Spike TV special.

Titled, "Eddie Murphy: One Night Only," the tribute will be shot and aired in November, the network announced. It is also the first televised salute to the 51-year-old star best known for his stint on "Saturday Night Live" and for flicks such as "Beverly Hills Cop," "Trading Places" and "Coming to America."

'Totally Biased With W. Kamau Bell' Renewed by FX for Second Cycle

NEW YORK, September 18, 2012 – FX has ordered the second cycle of its first year late night comedy series Totally Biased With W. Kamau Bell for seven half-hour installments, announced Nick Grad, Executive Vice President of Original Programming, FX.

Totally Biased will conclude its six-episode first cycle this Thursday, September 20 at 11:00 PM, and the second cycle of shows will begin on Thursday, October 11 in a new 11:30 PM time period, following the return of BrandX with Russell Brand that night at 11:00 PM.

Ben Stiller brings together some of his favorite comedians and performers for a unique, spontaneous and very funny conversation in the 4th Annual All-Star Comedy Roundtable - with guests this year including Jim Carrey, Chris Rock and host Bill Hader. The event was shot live June 22 at the Nantucket Film Festival by Red Hour Films in association with Spotted Dog Entertainment for broadcast on the network.

Chris Rock brings W. Kamau Bell to FX

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. -- FX's "Brand X with Russell Brand" takes a break until October and FX will try out "Totally Biased with W. Kamau Bell" Thursday at 11 p.m. It will offer Bell's take on current events and culture.

The show is executive produced by Chris Rock -- Bell says he's advised by "Foul Mouth Yoda" -- and will begin with Mr. Bell offering a monologue, similar to his one-man show, then there will be remote reports and a guest.

Comedy Central has given a pilot order to D-Raw, a sketch comedy show executive produced by Chris Rock and starring young comedian Deshawn Raw who described himself as, “Just a new comedian trying to make it out the hood with the team. So we don’t end up statistics.” The show is comprised of sketches featuring Deshawn and his diverse group of friends based on their personal experiences as they make fun of themselves and their lives in Rancho Cucamonga. The sketches include rap battles and the guys’ take on all things pop culture.
