Chris Rock Hints At Stand-Up Return

The last time we saw Chris Rock on a stand-up tour was back in 2008 for his  Kill The Messenger  HBO special. Now we might get a chance to catch him back on stage with his newest material soon. With talk that he and Dave Chappelle were possibly looking at touring together over the last year, Chris recently added  fuel to the talks of his return. Last week he stopped by New Jersey’s Stress Factory comedy club to headline a couple shows which included comedians Leslie Jones, Hannibal Buress and Ardie Fuqua.

Chris Rock packs local New Brunswick comedy club during Thursday night show

“We’re in New Brunswick. You’re here by choice. Why are you in New Brunswick by choice?” Chris Rock said to start his stand-up act last night.

“But at least we’re not in Camden.”

The legendary comedian debuted an hour and a half set to a packed house at The Stress Factory Comedy Club to prepare for an upcoming tour. The show was announced just after midnight on Wednesday and comes on the heels of four shows at the club last weekend.

Chris Rock, Kings of Leon join roster of Brad Pitt's Make It Right gala in New Orleans

Comedian Chris Rock will host the Make It Right foundation’s star-studded fundraising gala at the Sugar Mill on Convention Center Boulevard on May 17, 2014, organizers announced. Also, Kings of Leon – who recently headlined the Smoothie King Center – have joined a roster of performers that includes Bruno Mars.

Brad Pitt, the co-founder of Make It Right, is also scheduled to be in attendance.

Chris Rock killed it at New Brunswick's Stress Factory this weekend

Ticket holders for comic Joe Matarese woke up to an email Friday morning that read 'Event Cancelled.' The email went on to explain why: Chris Rock was dropping in for 2 shows that night and 2 shows Saturday night at The Stress Factory. Matarese ticket holders could call the club at 10 AM if they wanted to upgrade and continue to attend with Rock as the headliner.

On this week's "Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee," Chris Rock joins Jerry Seinfeld for some french fries and coffee.

The comedians discuss inventions, fried chicken, how badly Tiger Woods needs a girlfriend and decide that talking to a lot of people at once is "freakish." They also get pulled over.

Chris Rock, Kevin James Join Celebrity Softball Game

Chris Rock, Kevin James and other stars are ready to play ball.

The comedians are set to take the field in the Taco Bell All-Star Legends & Celebrity Softball Game, which will air live July 14 on ESPN.

The pair will be joined by George Lopez, Grammy winner Ashanti, Glee’s Chord Overstreet, Miss America 2013 Mallory Hagan, Extra's AJ Calloway, Olympic gold medalist and ESPN analyst Jennie Finch and Desperate Housewives’ James Denton.
